Abortion clinic escorts are sharing their wildest moments on TikTok, and viewers can't get enough. A TikTok video of a man who called the police on a clinic escort getting mad when the cops refused to take his side is going viral, to the delight of pro-choice activists.
The video was posted on the Bellevue, Nebraska CARE clinic escorts' TikTok page, known as @thedeathscorts. The page documents the clinic escorts' interactions with anti-abortion protesters who stand at the clinic to intimidate those seeking abortions.
The altercation started when a man, Pat, called the cops on a clinic escort, Shelly, because her sign said Pat did not work "here." According to @thedeathscorts, Pat is a regular protester who tells patients he is a doctor and tries to trick patients into visiting a fake clinic next door. Fake abortion clinics, known as crisis pregnancy centers, are run by pro-life groups. They lie to women about their pregnancies and options and try to convince women not to get abortions.
The police officers did not appreciate being called to the scene over Shelly's sign. "C'mon, are you joking me?" one police officer asked.
Pat continued to argue that Shelly was "in his face" and lying about him. The officers told Pat it did not appear that Shelly was breaking any laws and that she had a right to stand there.
"If anything, you're kind of in her face," the officer said. "Let her be."
Pat continued to argue with the officers, frustrating everyone involved.
"We do this every week, Pat," Shelly said.
Eventually, the officers left the scene, much to Pat's disappointment.
Viewers applauded the cops for how they handled the situation and were happy Pat was told off. "Very grateful that the cops were on your side for this," one user wrote.
"He should be fined. Seriously," another user said.
"The existential 'why are we here?' I'm dYING," one user commented.
Part two of this debacle was viewed 1.5 million times and liked 129,000 times.
