TikTok star Zoe Laverne is under fire after videos allegedly revealed her kissing an underaged fan and her ex-boyfriend accused her of pedophilia, Dexerto reports.
Laverne, 19, recently broke up with Cody Orlove, who raised concerns about her “interactions” with a 13-year-old boy named Connor, per Dexerto. According to leaked Instagram messages between Orlove and Amber VanPelt, Orlove said he ended his relationship with Laverne because of her “very intense” interactions with Connor.
“It’s something I do not stand by what so ever,” Orlove wrote. “It’s pedophilia.”
The video, posted in a Twitter thread by YouTuber Def Noodles, shows Laverne kissing a boy who people identified as Connor.
Another video, originally posted on Instagram, shows various clips of Laverne and Connor cuddling, dancing, and spending time together.
People are sharing the clips and accusing Laverne of pedophilia and grooming.
Laverne’s mother, Debbie Pemberton, posted a video defending her daughter’s actions and told people to “stop.”
“Anybody can reach over and kiss somebody,” she said. “They’re best friends and this needs to stop you guys, why are you doing this?”
Laverne, who deleted her Instagram, sent a message from a private fandom account she is known for running, per Dexerto.
“Thank you for everything, really,” the account wrote, per Dexerto. “But for right now I don’t think I’ll be back on [social] media again. I (still) have a lot to think about. I reall don’t wanna leave you guys but I’m tired of feeling this way. I’m tired of crying and hurting. It’s nothing but negativity to me anymore. I love you so much.”
