Is there a TikTok aesthetic? It’s hard to pin down, but it’s safe to say people are going very niche with their own aesthetic.
The My Aesthetic trend is a showcase of the ever-evolving tastes and identities of TikTokers, set to Crystal Castles’ “Crimewave.” Know Your Meme points to a Feb. 13 TikTok that highlights a more recognizable aesthetic: “kidcore,” which “tackles eye-bleeding colors, childish vibes, and #90saesthetic,” according to user @kermishy.
But deeper into the hashtag, more niche and rare aesthetics were revealed. Like “Karencore” and “Berniecore.”
People were looking for some aesthetic connection as well, though we’re not sure what the Ice Age Baby did to anyone.
And there were quite a few cursed images.
